The disparity between audio and visual is a little disturbing.

The prostitution news report in the background is really the best part.

I would have liked to send a link to this web page to my 8-yr-old niece. But because of the background audio on Sleepy Puppy 12, I can't. I expected this site to be kid-friendly, kid-safe. Can you remove the audio from this video, or remove Sleepy Puppy 12 from this page? Please? Thanks.

I won't take the video down, but I did put up a warning. There's no need to make your 8-year-old niece confront the harsh realities of "happy ending" massage without at least a word of caution beforehand.

Nick,

I would also vote to remove the video. While a cute image, the audio ruins it for the kids. While I found it funny, your blog seems to be the wrong spot for it, given its cute nature. I am skipping sending my kids the link to your blog.

While I don't agree with the commenters who want you to remove the video (the dissonance created is just too fantastic), how's this for a compromise?

Uhhhh.. Anon #2, you're not going to send your kids a link to this site because what, they shouldn't be online anyhow?

If they aren't old enough to be hearing NEWS STORIES, they shouldn't be on the internet. Sorry to break it to you.

Anons-

Newsflash: The world isn't going to change so you can maintain a bubble around your children. You have to change your parenting style to live in the real world.

Reality exists. Deal.

More disturbing than the prostitution audio, the visuals depicted a dog falling asleep.

how about mute?

I don't agree with the people voting to take it down--there isn't anything really graphic in the audio, and there is a clear warning that the audio isn't kid-friendly (people can always turn the volume down if they think they might be offended...)

this Vid needs its audio off for sure...and as for the person who said we needs to change our parenting style to fit the real world.. lol please... they also have vids of people being killed and bodies on the ground after falling from high places... should I let them watch that to ? cause that's whats okay with the real world apparently. if your gonna manage a site, do it correctly and with some kind of responsibility.

Listen, "Jeff" they'll be seeing that on movies and on the news too. They could always turn down the audio but he shouldn't take it down just because a few little kids are going to watch it.

Cute dog but GO RAVENS!!!!!

"Jeff"--are you seriously comparing a video with the words 'prostitution' and 'sex' in the background to a video of a murder?
Really?

Listen--it isn't the siteowner's responsibility to take this audio down. It is YOUR responsibility as a parent to be with your kids when they're on the computer, and do the censoring yourself. And if your kid is old enough to be on the computer alone, watching whatever they want, they've probably seen MUCH worse than this.

non-kid-friendly audio? I just hear "kfiaomfnaallo.... *kid* kgnamfief... *man* lamxna... *kid* loandcna..." Anyways, THIS IS SO CUTE!!!!!

they couldn't have edited out the disgusting audio for such a cute site?? Just remove this one--we hear enough of this garbage everywhere else. Can't ONE stupid site keep things clean?

I see.......there should be NO safe place for anyone to innocently view something. What's really insidious--and heartless--is tying something so sweet with something so vulgar and crass and then defending it. It's just not the right place for this. Plain and simple. The warning justifies/excuses NOTHING.
